Wow, as a Swede writing in English, I was really inspired reading about your journey to writing in English as well. And I completely agree that finding and welcoming feedback is crucial to develop as a writer. Love your words to welcome the new year: “let’s go down this new road…”
Thanks for stopping by, Lene and Happy New Year to you too.
I’m finding that a lot of us non-English speaking Europeans actually write in English. Ah, signs of the times, I suppose. I love that on your blog there are comments in English and comments in Swedish. That’s how we really are, don’t you think?

I think you ladies, Lene and Sarah, are just amazing. To learn to write in a language not native to you is one of the most difficult tasks to do well.
Move over Joseph Conrad. 🙂
